Using social media in office seems normal for most of the employees but do you know that social media distraction of employees’ costs $650 billion loss to US economy per year i.e. $4,452 per company. It may seem odd that how replying to a personal message, or checking a tweet can cause such a heavy loss but study shows that it takes 23
minutes for a person to get back to work with full focus after begin distracted by social media. This distraction occurs after 10.5 minutes (average) and more than 41% of time is being wasted on Facebook.
