Google+ ‘Share’ Button- Now Share MORE With G+
With the increase in open source platforms for developers the internet has became quite easier to use and navigate. The launch of new and updated apps for users to make internet portable has really changed the face and use of internet as it was never before. The sharing tools and widgets have made it much simpler to share the content (text, audio, video, pictures) on internet with the friends and circles.
This era belongs to social media world and anyone who doesn’t accepts this fact is surely far behind from this digital world. What social media has given people is the freedom of sharing their thoughts, feelings, likes and dislikes with their networks, now if people find something interesting on internet and wants to let their friends know the only thing required for doing that is just a ‘click’, the availability of such sharing tools helps users to share what they are reading, listening and watching over internet with their social networks without navigating away from the page.
Moving forward in this ‘sharing-trend’, Google has launched its new sharing tool to facilitate its users and most probably to be in race with Facebook. Previously Google was only providing users with +1 button to recommend the content on web(similar to Facebook ‘Like’ button) to their circles on Google’s social network i.e. Google+ but now moving one step ahead the direct sharing button joins the +1 button.
Introducing this new feature, the product manager of Google+ Mr. Rick Botovoy wrote,
“When your visitors come across something interesting on your site, sometimes you want to encourage a simple endorsement (like +1), other times, however, you want to help visitors share with their friends, right away. Today’s new Google+ Share button lets you do just that.”
This new feature also enables user to share the content keeping its privacy i.e. which content should be shared to whom which means that user can select the specific circle to share with and can share the content multiple times(Similar to Facebook ‘share feature) with different sectors of their networks.
The thing which makes it different from Facebook is that it has been launched for everyone all across the globe other than for some specific groups of people or brands(beta version).
Want this new feature to be the part of your site? Then don’t wait, here is the developer’s code. And Yes, Don’t forget to share your reviews, thoughts and experience of G+ with us via comments..
