Say Good Bye To Android Market & Welcome Google Play
Android market is a huge name in the tablet world as it’s been supported by the world’s largest search engine “Google”, but now it’s to welcome someone else in the market. Google has now moved one step further from android or it won’t be wrong to say that “Google has ditched Android” and have launched its new entity I.e. “Google Play” which will come into play in place of online android store for Google products.
The android app store, encompassed with Google music and Google e-Book Store are under the same umbrella and there is no such individual identity of any of the product. It’s all about change in e-world and as so is in this case; this move/change by Google is more in ‘name’ rather than ‘functionality/features, in simple words it has been done to aware the users about the content that Google is offering like it’s video offerings and e-books as it’s been a perception among the users that whatever is on android market belongs to Google. This step will benefit both the users and the organization in a way that organization will now be able to showcase all their offerings and products under one banner and user will be able to find all the trusted collection of products at one stop.
Moreover, the Google Play is a cloud based service which means that users will be able to access all their data on any of their device no matter on
which device they have stored it. So, a user can watch a movie on their phone which he\she has downloaded on computer.
Google emphasizes more on getting social so how this new service can be left, so Google also allows users to share with their circles on Google+ the music they are listening or book they have started to read.
The re-branding has already been done to the online android market and in coming few days it will be rolled out to the Froyo or higher android devices as “Google Play Store”, “Google Play Movies” and “Google Play Music”.
So are you ready to say good bye to android market and to welcome Google’s “Google Play”.
